The National Board of Emergency Care Certifications (NBECC) provides services to organizations and agencies that conduct emergency care education/certification programs for health care providers. In the United States, such programs are traditionally based on the most current published clinical recommendations and peer-reviewed medical/scientific literature.
To foster standardization and consistency, NBECC provides individual program evaluation and official certification to those programs that comply with nationally accepted, current standards.
